Feed Me
Feed Me
Until he debuted his alias Feed Me in 2008, Hertfordshire, England native Jon Gooch was known for his aggressive, hard-edged drum'n'bass productions as Spor. While Spor remained an ongoing outlet for Gooch, the producer quickly gained notice for his dubstep/electro-house hybrids as Feed Me; he signed to Deadmau5's Mau5trap label and issued "The Spell" (2008) and the album Feed Me's Big Adventure (2010), as well as the EPs To the Stars (2011) and Escape from Electric Mountain (2012)....
Jamie xx
Jamie xx
Working with and without his Mercury Music Prize-winning group the xx, Jamie xx established himself as a forward-thinking beatmaker and producer. Bob Mould
Bob Mould
Guitarist/singer/songwriter Bob Mould was initially a member of Hüsker Dü, one of the most influential American bands of the '80s. Hüsker Dü was a post-hardcore punk band that helped define the sound and ideals of alternative rock....
The Gaslight Anthem
The Gaslight Anthem
The Gaslight Anthem rose out of the fertile punk scene of New Brunswick, NJ, flaunting a unique style that melded the influence of Bruce Springsteen, Wilson Pickett, and various Motown groups with the rough, emotional grit of Hot Water Music and Jawbreaker....
Parachute
Parachute
Parachute took root in the college town of Charlottesville, Virginia, where the group honed its mix of pop/rock, funk, and contemporary blue-eyed soul under the original name Sparky's Flaw. Formed by high school students Will Anderson (vocals, guitar), Johnny Stubblefield (drums), Christopher "Kit" French (saxophone, keyboards), Alex Hargrave (bass), and Nate McFarland (guitar), Sparky's Flaw generated a healthy buzz around town and eventually became popular at the nearby University of Virginia, where they opened for Robert Randolph....
